Heritage
Honour Monaco’s role as the venue of the world’s first hydroaeroplane competition in 1912, and the birthplace of the Jacques Schneider Maritime Aviation Cup.
Monaco · Founded 2020
More than a century after Monaco hosted the world’s first hydroaeroplane meeting, the Hydravion Club de Monaco carries forward the principality’s pioneering role in maritime aviation.
Our mission
Since February 2020, we have been an official Monegasque association — declared in the Journal de Monaco — working to reconnect the principality with the seaplane community that once made it the first seaplane capital of the world.

Latest
During Monaco Classic Week, a 1952 Cessna L-19 “Bird Dog” seaplane alighted on Monegasque waters — the first landing of its kind in the principality in over a century. The flight was made possible through our partnership with the Aero Club Como.

We collaborate with Monegasque institutions and international seaplane clubs who share our passion for maritime aviation.
